Irvine, CA. - Texas A&M-Kingsville heads out west to California for the Concordia Invitational beginning on Friday.
The Javelinas (14-6) will face three new opponents at OC Great Park in Division I opponent California State University-Northridge as well as Master's University and Vanguard University. The Hogs are seeking a bounce-back performance this week after a tough 1-3 weekend at the Bayou Beach Duals last week.
Maiden Voyage to the Golden State:
For the first time in program history, the Javelinas will be heading to California for tournament play. The Hogs are no stranger to the western side of the United States, as this road trip will be the fourth trip out west in three seasons for the Javelinas.
Facing the Javelinas will be three brand new opponents and Concordia University-Irvine , who they currently hold a 0-1 record against after facing the golden Eagles for the first time during the 2024 season.Â
Continued Dominance:
Meghan Stiefer and
Emma Daugherty have had quite a season for themselves through the first five tournaments of the season. The duo, playing in the four's flight, have posted a 15-5 record overall this season including five wins against Division I opponents.
Texas A&M-Kingsville kicks off the Concordia Invitational Friday at 8:00 a.m. PST against Vanguard University. Stay up to date with the Javelina Bach Volleyball team at JavelinaBeach on Twitter.Â
