Elmwood, LA - Texas A&M-Kingsville could not pull out a win today in either match as it fell to 1-3 to end their Bayou Beach Duals run.

The Javelinas (14-6) fell 0-5 to Utah and 1-4 to Spring Hills College after splitting their matches against Tulane and their first match against Spring Hills College. This tournament marks the first time the Javelina finished with a losing record in a tournament this season.

Match one vs Utah:
Day two for the Hogs did not start the way they would have liked for it to start, as the Utes set the tone with a straight set victory in the four's flight. Kalani Vasquez and Madelyn Wallace were able to get their flight to a set three, but the Utes handled their business in that flight while taking the five's, three's and one's flights to get the victory.

Match two vs Spring Hills College:
The rematch for the Javelinas against the Badgers did not go the way the Javelinas envisioned. Spring Hills College and the Javelinas split the first two matches with Emma Daugherty and Meghan Stiefer picking up a 16-21, 21-16 and 15-7 victory. 

The second group of matches did not go the Javelinas way, as the Badgers took all three matches to get the win. It was not without drama however,  as Liana Huesca and Rylan Pollard got into a wild 26-28 finish in set one of the one's flight before falling in set two.
