Javelinas head to Louisiana for the Bayou Beach Duals

Elmwood, LA - Texas A&M-Kingsville heads east to the Bayou State for the Bayou Beach Duals, hosted by Tulane University, this weekend.

The Javelinas (13-3) are coming off a 3-1 finish to the Axe'em Invitational hosted by Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, in which they took down two out of their three Division I opponents in McNeese and Sam Houston. Now the Javelinas head out of state for the first time in the 2025 season to face ramped up competition in Elmwood.

Changing Fortunes Against Familiar Foes:
At the Bayou Beach Duals, Texas A&M-Kingsville will face off against familiar faces in the program's history. The Hogs will take on host school Tulane to kick off the tournament before facing fellow Division II school in Spring Hills College. Day two of the tournament will feature the Javelinas taking on Utah before a rematch against Spring Hills to close out the tournament.

Historically, the Javelinas have not fared well against these schools, posting a 4-6 record against Spring Hills College. Texas A&M-Kingsville will also seek its first program victories against both Tulane and Utah at the tournament.

Chasing Down History:
Senior Madelyn Wallace is currently on the precipice of being in sole possession of the No. 2 spot all time in individual wins in the career in program history. Wallace currently sits at 64 total wins for her career, just 10 behind Rylie Anderson's 74 wins.

The Bayou Beach Duals kicks off Friday at 8:30 a.m. CST as the Javelinas take on Tulane. Stay up to date with the tournament at JavelinaBeach on Twitter.
