Nacogdoches, TX - Texas A&M-Kingsville travels east to the campus of Stephen F. Austin for the Axe'em Invitational beginning on Friday.

The Javelinas (10-2) are coming off a 4-0 tournament appearance at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor Spring Splash. That tournament proved to be a historic one for the Javelinas, as they reached double-digit wins faster than any previous team in Javelina Beach History.

In Nacogdoches, the Hogs will face off against a familiar foe in UMHB, whom they have faced twice already. New for the Javelinas though will be Sam Houston, McNeese and the host school SFA.

Dominant Duo:
Playing in the four's duel for the Javelinas, the combination of Meghan Stiefer and Emma Daugherty have been on a warpath through the first three tournaments of the season. The duo currently sits with a 12-0 record across their matches and went a perfect 8-0 in the matches last tournament.

New Foes for the Hogs:
Texas A&M-Kingsville will face a brand new opponent this week in beach volleyball in the Sam Houston Bearkats. The Kats are currently 1-7 in their debut year in beach volleyball, with former Arizona State Brad Keenan at the helm. The Javelinas also possess a 2-0 record against McNeese and a 7-4 record against Stephen F. Austin.

Texas A&M-Kingsville kicks off the Axe'em Invitational at 12:00 p.m. CST on Friday against UMHB.
