Edmond, OK - Texas A&M-Kingsville kicks off its final road trip of the season as it heads north of the Red River to take on Oklahoma Christian on Thursday. 

The Javelinas (9-12, 5-10 Lone Star Conference) seek to get the final group of road games off on the right foot against the Eagles (6-14, 3-12 LSC) after falling in their last two home games. In their last matchup, Texas A&M-Kingsville dominated from start to finish, winning the game 79-65.

Much like last matchup, the Javelinas will need to contain Depaul transfer Keondre Young to get back in the win column. However, the Eagles have another guard doing major damage this season. Marco Foster is currently averaging 14 points per game and four rebounds on 44 percent shooting this season. Foster is also shooting 45 percent from beyond the arc.

A key matchup for the Javelinas will be their rotation of guards against the length of Oklahoma Christian's guards. One of these guards for Texas A&M-Kingsville is Bryson Goldsmith, who scored his second 20-point game against St. Edwards on Jan. 30 with a career-best 24 points.

Another guard to watch for in this contest is Isaiah Payne. Payne, the leading scorer for the Javelinas, is just 17 points away from reaching 1,000 career points. After missing some time due to injury, Payne scored in double digits with 11 points against St. Mary's for his 14th game scoring ten or more points.
