Frisco - Texas A&M-Kingsville athletics had 136 student-athletes named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll the conference announced on Wednesday.

The Javelinas that were selected to the Honor Roll were part of 2,284 students-athletes who earned this achievement for the spring 2024 semester. This includes 757 individuals who posted a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in the academic term.

To be eligible for the recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the institution's sport roster. Participants on all 19 LSC championship sports, five non-conference sports, and athletic training and athletics performance student staff are included among the Spring 2024 honorees.

Lubbock Christian posted the highest number of student-athletes on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with 189 members, including a conference-best 94 with a 4.0 grade-point average. West Texas A&M was second with 186 honorees and UT Tyler third (184). Angelo State (163) and St. Mary's (157) complete the top five institutions for Spring 2024 Commissioner's Honor Roll listing.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters.
