Kingsville - Texas A&M-Kingsville finished with record 202 student-athletes on the Lone Star Conference's Commissioner's Honor roll for the Fall 2025 semester, the conference announced on Tuesday.
 The 202 student-athletes for the Javelinas were the most that the program has ever placed onto the LSC Commissioner's role. 67 of the 202 athletes to make the honor roll posted a 4.0 GPA as well. Texas A&M-Kingsville Athletics finished tied for fourth for the most student-athletes on the honor roll, their highest finish in department history as well.
The Javelinas joined UT-Dallas in fourth place among all LSC programs for student athletes on the honor roll. St. Edward's finished just ahead of the Javelinas with 206 student athletes while Lubbock Christian and UT-Tyler finished atop the conference with 210 and 226 honorees respectively.Â
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters with student-athlete qualification based on the grade point average for the specified semester. To be eligible for the recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the institution's sport or support staff roster.
Participants in all 19 LSC championship sports, three non-conference NCAA sports, and students assisting with athletic training, athletic performance and sports information are included among the Fall 2025 honorees as submitted by their respective Conference institutions.
