Kingsville -
Looking to extend its winning streak, Texas A&M-Kingsville takes on Midwestern State at Javelina Stadium on Saturday.

After drubbing Sul Ross State last week, the Javelinas (3-1, 2-0 Lone Star Conference) are seeking their fourth straight win this season and third straight win in conference play. They now face a Mustang team (2-2, 1-1 LSC) that is coming off of its first conference loss this season.

Last season, the Javelinas broke a 12-game losing streak to the Mustangs in the final game of the regular season in a tightly contested 27-21 match in Wichita Falls. Now, the Javelinas will get to play the Mustangs in Kingsville.

Both teams were slated to finish around each other in the LSC preseason poll as well. Texas A&M-Kingsville were positioned at No. 4 while Midwestern was slotted at No. 5.

Saturday's contest will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT at Javelina Stadium. The game will be streamed to Flosports and live updates for the match can be found on live stats or JavelinaFB on Twitter.

Quick Hitters:

- Isaiah Smalls has a career game as well, finishing with three catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

- 11 different receivers for the Javelinas caught at least one pass last week, including true freshmen King Phillips and sophomore Kevin Holmes Jr.

- While the Javelinas did slide down the redzone defense chart, they now rank as the number one rushing defense in the conference and number eight in the country.

- Defensive End Demarcus Hendricks had another multi sack performance last week. He now is tied for the top spot in the conference with four sacks for the year.

- Xavier Henderson continues to prove why he is a first team all-conference selection. The senior DT leads all defensive lineman in the conference with 7.5 TFL's
