Javelinas continue their New Mexico matchups as Eastern New Mexico visits the SPEC

Land of Enchantment meets Lone Star State again as TAMUK prepares for the Greyhounds

KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team prepares for the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds as they continue their home stretch against opponents from the Land of Enchantment. They are set to face off Saturday, January 27th at 1:00 P.M.

The Javelinas (7-12, 3-9 LSC) are heading into Saturday's matchup after falling in the closing seconds to the Western New Mexico Mustangs 55-57. The Javelinas came out of the game Leading in defensive categories such as blocks (4-3), Steals (11-5), and turnovers (12-19).

Eastern New Mexico (6-11, 2-9 LSC) comes into Saturday after dropping one to the #RV Texas A&M International Dustdevils 56-60.

The Javelinas and Greyhounds have a storied past meeting a grand total of 72 times dating all the way back to January 19th, 1985 during the 1984-85 season. The Greyhounds hold the overall matchup with a 39-33 all-time record.
