KINGSVILLE, Texas — On Monday, Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball coach Tanya Allen-Gonzalez announced that she and her staff will host four summer camps to allow campers to sharper their volleyball skills over the summer. 
 
The Javelinas will first host a middle school camp on Thursday, July 6, across two sessions from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., with lunch provided between sessions. The morning session will be focused on technical skill development, while later in the day, a larger emphasis will be placed on gamelike situations in scrimmage settings. The middle school camp is priced at $100 per camper. 
 
On Friday, July 7, the squad will host a pair of camps, with a beach volleyball-centric camp slated, featuring sessions from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., with lunch provided. The camp will start with fundamentals and movement patterns before progressing toward refinement of individual and cooperate skills surrounding beach volleyball. The beach volleyball camp is priced at $100 per camper. 
 
Later in the day, a setting-specific camp will be held, priced a $50 and running from 5-7 p.m. The clinic is open to all ages and will focus specifically on setting techniques, footwork, and decision-making to help setters improve in a high-rep atmosphere. 
 
Lastly, the high school camp will see two days of action from Saturday, July 8-9, with both days beginning with a morning session from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., ahead of an afternoon session from 2-5 p.m. The price is $250.00 per camper, and lunch will be provided. The camp will cover all aspects of the game and focus on the camper's individual development while providing a fun atmosphere.
