KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team comes into the South Central Tournament as the sixth seed and will face off against the third seeded Metropolitan State University of Denver Roadrunners.
The Javelinas (21-10, 11-5 LSC) only their second time in program history making it to the regional tournament, are on a mission to continue this historic run after dropping the LSC championship game to WT their last outing three sets to none.
MSU-Denver (23-6, 13-1 RMAC) will be the next task for the Javelinas as they were also the runner up of their conference dropping three sets to two against Regis in the championship game.
The South Central Regional tournament will take place at the West Texas A&M Field House otherwise known as "The Box" in Canyon, Texas on the campus of West Texas A&M. The winner of this Thursday's matchup will move on to Friday's quarterfinal matchup against the winner of the Regis vs Angelo State Matchup.
