KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team is back in the Lone Star Conference Tournament for the 27
th time in program history marking the second most in the LSC.
The Javelinas (19-9, 11-5 LSC) are heading into the tournament fresh off of a three set sweep of the Cameron Aggies at the Steinke Physical Education Center last time out.
UAFS (22-7, 12-4 LSC) will be the first task for the Javelinas as they also come into the tournament fresh off of a win besting the Texas Woman's Pioneers three sets to one.
The Javelinas and Lions have met 7 total times, where the Javs hold a 1-6 all-time record. The Lions getting the better of the Javelinas both times out this season, in the LSC Preview tournament three sets to two and during conference play three sets to one. The third iteration of this matchup will be Thursday November 16 at 7:30 in Dallas, Texas.
All Matches will take place at the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas on the campus of Dallas Baptist University. The winner of this Thursday matchup will move on to face the winner of DBU and Texas A&M-International Friday at 7:30 PM.
