KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team is back for the second of the weekend slate of games at the Steinke Physical Education Center to take on the UTPB Falcons.

The Javelinas (16-6, 8-2 LSC) are going into Saturday's match after an impressive three sets to none sweep of the Angelo State Rambelles. The Blue and Gold are now trying to continue on their tear, and keep the momentum alive as they bring UTPB to the SPEC..

The Falcons come into the match right on the heels of the Javelinas as they are In a three way tie for fifth in the conference while the Javelinas are tied for fourth with UAFS. This matchup set to be a good offense versus defense battle as Junior middle blocker Ayanna Jackson is second in the conference with a .370 hitting percentage, however UTPB's April Egwu leads the conference in blocks

UT Permian Basin (16-6, 7-4 LSC) comes into Saturday fresh off of a three set sweep of their own. That matchup against Texas A&M-International where they hit a .221 while having seven blocks on the evening.

The Javelinas and Falcons have met 10 total times, where the Javs hold a 7-3 all-time record. The last time these squads met was the 2022 season where the Javelinas went on the road and took three sets in a sweep of the Falcons.
