KINGSVILLE, Texas – Men's basketball will host two games on Thursday and Saturday this week, taking on East Division foes St. Edward's and St. Mary's with Thursday night's game set for 7:30 p.m. and Saturday's for 3 p.m.
This will be the Javelinas' second time meeting the Hilltoppers and Rattlers this season with TAMUK getting wins over both teams earlier in the season.

The Javs' squeaked out a narrow, 80-76 victory against St. Ed's back on Jan. 1. In that game, senior forward Will Chayer posted a season high in points (19) on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting performance from the field.
TAMUK earned its eighth straight win over the Rattlers in their earlier meeting in San Antonio this season coming away with a 67-61 victory.
The Javelinas return to the Steinke Physical Education Center after splitting a pair of contests in New Mexico last week, defeating Western New Mexico 81-69, before having their nine-game win streak snapped by Eastern New Mexico, 73-65.
On the season, the Hogs are in the top-ten nationally in turnovers forced per game (10th) and turnover margin (4th). Additionally, TAMUK leads the LSC in scoring margin with 11.1-points difference per game in the positive for the Javelinas.
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
St. Ed's (15-6, 9-2 LSC) comes to Kingsville having won four of its' last five games, but the Hilltoppers did drop their last game losing to Angelo State 98-78, at home last Saturday.
The Hilltoppers lead the LSC in assist/turnover ratio, assists per game, and boast the second-highest team field goal percentage, shooting 46.7 percent from the field.
Freshman, Sean Elkinton leads the way for the team from Austin, as he leads the conference in double-doubles on the season with seven and in rebounds with 176 on the season.
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
St. Mary's (9-8, 6-6 LSC) come to south Texas on the heels of knocking off UT Permian Basin last Saturday, 69-59.
The Rattlers are led by Emmanuel Ewuzie, second in the conference in blocks per game this season.
Fifth year guard, Caleb Jordan leads the Rattlers offensively with an average of 14 points per game in this season.
