SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Texas High School Coaches Association has announced the list of speakers at its 2022 THSCA Convention and Coaching School and Texas A&M-Kingsville men's basketball coach Johnny Estelle is among those who will be speaking at the event.
Estelle will be one of the first speakers at the convention, as he is scheduled to talk from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on July 17th.
In 2021-22, Estelle led the Javelinas to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the last six seasons and along the way, his Javelinas sprung an upset on No. 4 Lubbock Christian, the highest-ranked team the Hogs have ever defeated. Over the last three years, the Javs own a .701 win percentage, the highest over any three year stretch in program history.
