Â
"This is obviously not the way we wanted to finish the regular season," said TAMUK head football coach
Mike Salinas. "Especially on senior night, our guys played hard but in the end we did not make enough plays in critical situations. This loss will not define us, I am very proud of my players because I felt like we made great strides this year."
Â
There is a chance the Javelinas could get selected to play in a post season bowl game, that decision will be announced Tuesday. "We would love to get another opportunity to get our players back on the field and end the season with a victory," said Salinas.
