KINGSVILLE, Texas – An entertaining match to say the least gave Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-5, 3-1 LSC) its third consecutive Lone Star Conference victory as they defeated #RV Texas A&M University-Commerce (6-7, 2-3 LSC) in four sets at the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center Saturday afternoon.
After two tightly contested sets that resulted in a split, the Javelinas rolled in set three 25-14 and closed the Lions out in the fourth 25-16. The home team finished the match with a sideout percentage of 58 and served well with a new season-high 16 service aces.
Krystal Faison captured her fourth double-double of the season with 16 kills and 15 digs while adding four service aces.

Shelby Sheets found the floor nine times each and Wick added an ace.
Gabby Atchley registered a match-high of five aces and setter
Casey Klobedans directed the team with 40 assists. Libero
Jasmine Jacinto turned in a match-high 20 digs and
Haley Hutchinson put down three blocks in the win.
Jaslyn Wacker led A&M-Commerce with 12 kills and four blocks followed by senior Layne Little's ten kills.
Texas A&M-Kingsville will return to its home floor next weekend as they challenge No. 11 Angelo State on Friday and No. 17 Tarleton State on Saturday.
