KINGSVILLE, Texas (Beach Volleyball) – The final home match of the inaugural beach volleyball season is here as Texas A&M University-Kingsville (9-15) hosts Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (0-14) Wednesday at 7 p.m. on the Javelina Beach Volleyball Courts. Free sunglasses will be given out and the sponsor of the game is Legends at Kingsville.
The Javelinas defeated the Islanders 4-1 earlier this season. This past Saturday,
Haley Hutchinson and
Kadi Shipman took No. 5 versus the University of Louisiana-Monroe (16-10) 21-18, 12-21, 15-11.
Kyra Henderson and
Madison Brabham lead the club with 10 wins. Hutchinson and
Kadi Shipman have nine apiece, followed by
Lexi Wick,
Maelee Sowa and
Kat Evans follow with eight wins and
Gabby Atchley and
Morgan Broussard have seven.
UP NEXT
The Javelinas conclude the season in Corpus Christi versus nationally-ranked TCU at 10 a.m. Saturday and the Islanders at 3 p.m.
