KINGSVILLE, Texas (Football) – IBC Bank Hispanic Heritage Hall of Fame Weekend is capped off with #RV Texas A&M University-Kingsville (2-0) looking to upset No. 12/10 Midwestern State University (1-0) Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at Javelina Stadium.
 
The battle of undefeated clubs begins the Lone Star Conference slate for the Javelinas, who received 36 votes in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Poll. Midwestern State was idle last week and defeated Truman State University in its season opener.
 
Myles of Consistency
Senior Myles Carr began the 2016 campaign the same way he ended 2015, throwing three touchdowns in the 31-22 victory at University of Incarnate Word (Sept. 3) and four touchdowns on just eight attempts in last week's 68-7 win versus Simon Fraser University (Sept. 10). Currently, he leads the nation in pass efficiency and is top five in passing touchdowns and yards per completion.
 
AA's a Problem (Keonte')
Anthony Autry showed off for the Javelina faithful in the home opener as the senior wide receiver was on the receiving end of three of Myles Carr's four touchdowns in the 68-7 win.
 
Up Front
Defensive end Brandon Jones has four sacks and two quarterback hurries in two games this season. Last season, he ended his freshman campaign with 4.5 sacks. Braedon Robinson has 3.0 through the first two games.
