PORTALES, N.M. (Softball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-19, 2-10 LSC) returns to conference play with a four-game series against Eastern New Mexico University (10-24, 3-13 LSC) March 25-26 at the Greyhound Softball Field.
Both doubleheaders on Friday, March 25
th and Saturday, March 26
th are scheduled for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio leads the Javelinas with a .313 batting average and has two HR and 18 RBI this season.
Roxy Chapa's four home runs and 22 RBI lead the club and the freshman backstop is batting .289 at the dish.
Rachael Longoria rounds out the middle of the Javelina order with a .281 batting average on 89 plate appearances. Longoria has eight consecutive games with multiple hits, a team best this season.
Karri Smith is 3-6 in 2016 inside the circle with a 3.83 ERA.
Carlie Clark is 4-6 with 44 punchouts in 47.0 innings.
The Greyhounds are 5-9 at home this season and are currently on a six-game losing streak after being swept by Lubbock Christian in San Antonio, Texas.
Seven athletes for ENMU bat over .300 this season. Kyra Siraq leads the Greyhounds with a .389 batting average. Susannah Chandler has a .353 average and leads the team with seven home runs and is tied with Morgan Green for the team lead with 25 RBI.
Aja Secheslingloff is the Greyhounds leader in the circle with a 5-5 record. Secheslingloff has 43 strikeouts in 64.0 innings.
