The Javelinas are coming off a 90-84 loss to the nationally-ranked Rams Saturday. The seventh-seed in the tournament for the second consecutive season, Texas A&M-Kingsville rallied from being down 20 last season versus the Rams to cut it to a two-point ballgame.
DJ Weathers leads the Hogs with 13.0 points per game and adds 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and is shooting 81 percent from the free throw line.
Troy Jones is shooting 51.6 percent from the field and scoring 12.9 points to go with his team-high 7.9 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 0.4 blocks.
Jamar Goodwin chips in 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, 1.1 assists and 0.7 blocks,
Cris Boleware is averaging 8.8 points, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals and
Will West is scoring 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
The Angelo State offense led the LSC with 88.2 points per game. Tre Bennett leads the squad in scoring with 16.8 points per game and the senior is shooting 38.5 percent from three-point range. Stedman Allen adds 16.2 points per contest.
