KINGSVILLE, Texas (Softball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (6-5) begins Lone Star Conference play at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field against Angelo State University (11-4). The four-game series is scheduled to begin Friday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. with two games Friday and two Saturday. First pitch Feb. 27 is slated for 2 p.m.

Rachael Longoria is hitting .394 with a home run and seven RBI,
Haley Boyett follows with a .371 batting clip and six stolen bases and
Michaela Huebotter is 4-for-9 with a home run and three RBI.
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio and
Roxy Chapa each have two dingers and are over the .300-mark with a combined 24 RBI. In the circle,
Carlie Clark leads the club with a 2-1 win-loss record and 2.78 ERA. Clark,
Karri Smith (1-1, 3.50 ERA),
Sarah Gilbert (2-3) and Huebotter (1-0) each tossed a complete game.

Bailey Wallace leads the Rambelles with a .447 batting average and 21 hits. Ambra Hill hit .625 last week and is second on the team with a .423 average and Kelly Johnson is hitting .348 on the season with eight hits and one triple. She has batted in eight runs and scored 12.
