LAWTON, Okla. (Men's Basketball) –
With just two games remaining in the 2015-16 regular season, the Javelinas look to unknot a four-way tie for first place in the Lone Star Conference by defeating Cameron University (15-9, 8-4 LSC) Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. at Aggie Gym.

Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-13, 2-10 LSC) play the Aggies in a pivotal game that can determine who it potentially plays in the upcoming Lone Star Conference Tournament in Allen, Texas. The Aggies, currently in a four-way tie for first place with No. 22/21 Midwestern State University, No. 15/14 Angelo State University and #RV West Texas A&M University, cannot clinch the regular season championship with a win Saturday, but this can be a potential preview of the opening round of the tourney. The Javelinas are currently in eighth place in the conference standings.

Troy Jones leads the team in points and rebounds with 12.6 and 7.8 rebounds, respectively, and his 7.8 boards per contest rank tied for third in the conference. DJ Weathers adds 12.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists, Jamar Goodwin is averaging 9.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals and Cris Boleware is recording 9.0 points, 2.9 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per contest.

For Cameron, Deondre Ray paces the way with 15.0 points on 53.5 percent shooting and he adds 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals. Jamaal Brantley averages 14.9 points and 6.8 rebounds and Cameron Lee (13.7 points) and JV Long (10.5) round out the double digit scorers for the Aggies. CU has defeated three nationally-ranked teams this season in No. 5 Drury, No. 6 Midwestern State and No. 11 Angelo State, proving to be one of the most clutch teams in the LSC. Playing its homecoming game Saturday, the Aggies are 7-1 at Aggie Gym this season.
