STEPHENVILLE, Texas (Men's Basketball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-11, 2-8 LSC) looks to upend another team receiving votes as the Javelinas head to #RV Tarleton State University (16-7, 5-5 LSC) Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at Wisdom Gym.

The Javelinas defeated #RV Texas A&M University-Commerce (16-7, 5-5 LSC), 84-71, Wednesday at the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court after connecting on 15 three-pointers, one shy of tying the single game school record set in 2002.

In that game,
DJ Weathers led all scorers with 19 points and he was one of three Javelina players to drain four triples with
Will West, who finished with 18 points and six rebounds and
Trey Sumpter with 14 points.
Jamar Goodwin hit three from three-point range and
Cris Boleware dished out a game-high six assists.

Troy Jones leads the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game and in rebounds, pulling down 7.4 boards per contest. Weathers follows with 12.4 points and Goodwin and Boleware are nearing the 10.0 point plateau.

Tarleton State is 14-2 inside Wisdom Gymnasium. Four players average double figures, led by EJ Reed's 18.3 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per contest.
