KINGSVILLE, Texas (Softball) – The homestand continues for Texas A&M University-Kingsville (0-2) as the Javelinas host the Emerald Beach Hotel Javelina Invitational Feb. 11-14 at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field. The Javelinas host Southwestern Oklahoma State University (1-4) Thursday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. followed by SWOSU battling Texas A&M International University (5-5) at 7 p.m.
 
SWOSU begins day two at 10:30 a.m. versus Texas A&M University-Commerce (3-1) with Black Hills State University making its season debut Friday, Feb. 12 against the Javelinas at 1 p.m. St. Edward's University (2-3) plays two afternoon games Thursday.
 
The Javelinas began their season Tuesday, with Haley Boyett going 3-for-4 at the plate in game one and Sarah Gilbert going the distance in game two.
