Elliot Taylor finished with seven points and four rebounds in a 95-50 loss to No. 4/2 Midwestern State University (16-1, 5-0 LSC) Wednesday evening at the D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
With the loss, Texas A&M University-Kingsville fell to 9-7 overall and 1-4 in Lone Star Conference play with the Mustangs increasing their win streak to 13.
Troy Jones recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.
The nationally-ranked Mustangs took charge early on and led 46-19 after the first half.
Elliot Taylor and Goodwin scored six points apiece and each recorded three rebounds in the opening stanza.
Four Mustangs reached double figures, led by Brandon Golden's 18 points and 11 rebounds. MSU went 36-72 from the field in the win.
The Javelinas return home to host Cameron University on Jan. 23 at 8 p.m.
