BRAZZAVILLE, Congo (Track & Field) – Senior pole vaulter
Jordan Yamoah competed at the African Games last week in New Kintele Stadium. He claimed second in the event with a new Ghana national record.
Yamoah cleared 17-0.75 (5.20m) to win the silver medal. Taking home the gold was Hichem Khalil Cherabi of Algeria at 17-2.75 (5.25m)
