KINGSVILLE, Texas (Men's Basketball) – Duan Wright and the Javelinas tip off the second half of Lone Star Conference action on their home floor as Texas A&M University-Kingsville (6-13, 1-6 LSC) hosts Eastern New Mexico University (7-13, 0-7 LSC) on IBC Bank Pack the House/Greek Night, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gil H. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
The Javelinas defeated the Greyhounds, 75-67, in Portales, N.M., earlier this season for their lone LSC win of the year. In the contest,
Will West capped off a career night with 14 points and eight rebounds and
Don Thomas added 19 points, going 8-of-10 from the free throw line.
Texas A&M-Kingsville has dominated the all-time series, going 41-25 against ENMU.
Last Time OutWright closed out the month of January with yet another career best performance, this time pulling down nine rebounds and swatting away four shots, but the resilient Hogs could not overcome a poor shooting performance against the surging Rams of Angelo State. With the win, the Rams coasted to a perfect record through the first round of LSC play and are now ranked No. 6 in the national polls (National Association of Basketball Coaches and D2SIDA).
