SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team fell to Angelo State, the No. 1 team in the South Central region, 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-16) Friday night in the Junell Center.

The Javelinas dropped to 18-12 overall and 7-6 in the Lone Star Conference while the Rambelles are now 26-5 on the season and 12-2 in league action.

The second set started with TAMUK jumping out to a 4-1 lead behind two service aces and a kill courtesy of Faison. A 10-6 advantage was the largest for the Javelinas following a Rambelle attack error. With the score knotted 16-16, ASU won nine of the final 10 points to close out the set.
