LAWTON, Okla. (Men's Basketball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (6-10, 1-3 LSC) takes on one of the nation's top shooting program in Cameron University (9-7, 1-3 LSC) on Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Aggie Gym.
The Aggies, who enter the week ranked 10
th in NCAA Division II in team field goal percentage (51.1) and 25
th in three-point field goal percentage (40.5, tops in the Lone Star Conference), are coming off a near upset over No. 10/15 Tarleton State University. The Texans ultimately pulled away to escape with a 77-74 victory. DJ Jackson ranks seventh in the country and first in the LSC in assist to turnover ratio at 3.35. His 4.2 assists per contest, 54.3 three-point field goal percentage and 82.3 free throw percentage are tops on the team. The Aggies dominate the glass, pulling down 28.5 defensive rebounds per game, good for 10
th in DII, and hold a 7.5 rebound margin, 21
st best in the nation. Limiting opponents to 40.3 percent shooting, the balanced team also places in the top 30 nationally in assists/game (16.8).

Troy Jones places 13
th on the latest rankings in field goal percentage (65.5) and leads the Hogs in points per game (14.3), rebounds per game (7.1) and double-doubles (two).
The all-time edge goes to Cameron as the Aggies are 17-16 against TAMUK after defeating the Blue and Gold, 63-58, on Feb. 19, 2014.
