KINGSVILLE, Texas – Sandwiched between tournaments in Alaska and Lubbock to open the season, the Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team makes its season debut at Kingsville Hampton Inn Court Wednesday when Our Lady of the Lake visits at 7 p.m.
The Javelinas enter the tournament with a 2-2 mark following their performance at the SpringHill Suites Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska. After dropping their first matches the team won its final two to close out the tournament.
Our Lady of the Lake enters the mid-week match with a 3-3 record after a 1-3 performance in a Texas Wesleyan tournament over the weekend.
It is the second year in a row that Kingsville opens the home portion of the season with the Saints. Last year, Kingsville opened its home tournament with a 3-0 win and is 3-0 all-time versus the OLLU.
