SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team concluded their season on Saturday with a 10-1 loss at Lone Star Conference South Division rival Incarnate Word. (box score)

The Javelinas (24-31, 5-16) had only four hits in the game while the Cardinals (31-21, 15-6) pounded out 10 hits and three home runs in only 4.5 innings. 

Briana Sanchez earned her 21st victory of the season for UIW by allowing four hits and one run in 4.0 innings.  Lea Padilla, Whitney Waltrip and Kaylen Skinner powered the Cards to victory with a home run apiece.
   
Yvette Berlanga (San Antonio/O’Connor HS) drove in the only run of the series for the Javelinas with a fourth inning double that plated Amber Cherry (Splendora/Splendora HS).
