The Wildcats (24-23, 9-6) hit four home runs in the game as both Lyndi Smith and Ashley Calles each hit a pair. Smith went 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI’s while Calles finished the game 3-for-3 with two runs and four RBI’s. Four other players had two hits for the team. Brittany Rexroat earned her second win of the series by pitching 5.0 shutout innings allowing just three hits and a walk.
The Javelinas fell to 23-24 on the season and 4-11 in divisional play. They are back in action on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Texas A&M-International.
