WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS – The Texas A&M-Kingsville men’s basketball team traveled to Midwestern State with a ticket to the Lone Star Conference Tournament already in hand, but with a chance to move up in the standings.  Unfortunately, the Javelinas (18-9, 8-4) dropped an 80-59 decision to the LSC South Division regular season champions on Saturday night.  (box score)

The Mustangs (21-6, 10-2) jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead and never looked back.  They held a 43-26 at the half and led by more than 20 points for the majority of the second half.
