CANYON, TEXAS – The #4 West Texas A&M volleyball team downed Lone Star Conference rival Texas A&M-Kingsville on Thursday night 25-10, 25-15, 25-19.
 The Buffs (29-4, 12-0) were clicking on all cylinders throughout the match.  They posted a .654 attack in the first set and had a .476 attack for the match.
 The Javelinas (10-17, 3-9) never mounted much of a threat to the home team.  Senior Shaday Smith (Houston/Jones HS) led the team with seven kills.  Junior Kirby Krueger (New Braunfels/Canyon HS) had 16 assists for the squad.
 Laura Prinsen led the Buffs with 10 kills while Katie Rickwartz had 34 assists.  Sara Contreras was the only player in double figures in digs with 12.
 The Javelinas travel to Eastern New Mexico for their final game of the season on Saturday at 2 o’clock.
