Hogs Swept By Central Oklahoma

Edmond, Okla. – The Central Oklahoma Bronchos swept a doubleheader and the 4-game series from the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas winning 4-1 and 14-7 Saturday.

The losses dropped the Javelinas to 12-10 while the Broncos improved to 13-5-1.

Josh Livingston (Corpus Christi Moody) pitched well in game one, allowing just 3 earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, but didn’t get enough run support.

The Javelinas had just 4 hits in the opener.

In game two the Javelina offense came alive, banging out 8 hits, but the Hogs committed 5 errors and gave up 12 hits.

Javier Molina and Clay Bockholt (Corpus Christi Tuloso-Midway) each had two hits and combined to drive in 3 runs.

   A&M-Kingsville hosts St. Edward’s Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
