Mia Cherry led the Javelinas off the bench in both games this past weekend as TAMUK swept Cameron in LSC play. She fired off 16 points in Friday's 77-71 victory on a 5-for-14 rate from the field and 3-for-9 clip from the three-point line while tossing in four assists in the contest. She added a season-high 20 points while shooting 7-for-11 from the floor and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc in Saturday's 78-70 triumph along with five assists and four rebounds. It is the third consecutive game Cherry made at least three shots from long range as she pushed her season scoring average back into double digits.
