Onofrei, meanwhile, swung one of the hottest bats for the Javelinas as her team posted a perfect 6-0 mark during the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational in Conroe, Texas. Against Pittsburg State on Friday, she smacked her first career triple and later came around to score the game’s first run. She then had a banner day against ATU on Saturday as she started the game with a first-inning grand slam and later added an RBI double in a 12-7 triumph where she also scored thrice.

The sophomore catcher finished the weekend by adding one more home run against Lone Star Conference foe Tarleton and two more hits off Minnesota Duluth as she ended the invite with a .421 average on four extra-base hits, five runs scored and six RBI.
