For the football program, Tutt led the defensive unit with 14 tackles, 10 solo and two for loss, to go with a forced fumble in a 24-21 senior day win for the Javelinas over UT Permian Basin. He was instrumental in the final drive of the game that resulted in an intercepted pass from Kameron Mathis as he made three tackles on the drive leading up to the game-ending interception from senior Sean Landez (Mission, Texas).
On the year, Tutt leads the defense with 89 tackles, 49 solo, along with 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup and one QB hurry. He currently ranks sixth in the Lone Star Conference in total tackles, third in solo tackles and ninth in tackles for loss to close out the year.
