Hannah Walker begins her first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville after being hired in February 2015.
Walker arrives from New Mexico State where she completed her collegiate eligibility in the fall. As the Aggies’ starting libero, she played in 21 matches while leading the team with 285 digs and 3.90 digs a set and adding 15 service aces. Walker was selected to the Holly Young Invitational All-Tournament team following NMSU’s sweeps of Brown, Rhode Island and the host’s New Hampshire.

In May 2014 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in individualized studies and is currently working on a second bachelor’s in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science.

The 2013 season saw her sit out after receiving a medical redshirt due to an injury. Walker’s first year with the Aggies in 2012 saw her recorded 327 digs, 2.87 d/s, 62 assists and 22 service aces while helping lead the team to the Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and a NCAA Tournament bid.

Prior to arriving in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Walker played two years at Colorado as both libero and defensive specialist.

Walker attended Colorado Springs Christian High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she helped lead the volleyball program to a state championship title all four years. She served as the team captain in her junior and senior years while being selected to the all-state team and Prep Volleyball’s Senior Ace.

From 2007-12 saw Walker compete in the USA Volleyball High Performance Program A2 Team Level. During her time, she was the libero for the Rocky Mountain Region High Performance team at the USA Volleyball Championship.

Her club years were spent with the Colorado Juniors in which she helped them qualify for the USA Volleyball Junior Olympics for four straight years.
