Biography

2015-16 (R-So.): Posted an 8-16 single record. Won four straight matches at one point including a victory over #13 North Central Texas College's Kristin Hillestad. In doubles, Larrea went 12-16. When partnered with Mariaxi Herrera late in the season, the tandem won their first four and finished with a 7-6 record.

2014-15 (R-Fr.): Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year after setting school’s single season record with a 13-4 mark in the spring… LSC singles honorable mention… went 15-5 overall in singles and 12-12 in doubles with Paula Saenz (11-11 in the spring)… went 2-1 at the Midwestern State Invitational (Sept. 19-20)… began spring campaign with a perfect 8-0 record in singles and did not see first loss until March 14… four consecutive doubles wins with Saenz over Sul Ross State and No. 46 Newman (March 14), No. 45 Florida Southern (March 17) and Geneseo (March 18)… ended season on a three-match win streak in singles No. 6 and doubles No. 3/2 (April 4-24)… named LSC Player of the Week on April 9 and going 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles… ended with the most singles win in single season history (15, 13 in the spring).
 
2013-14 (Fr.): Did not receive action, redshirting season.
 
High School: Attended Atenas High School in Ambato, Tungurahua, Ecuador… played forward on the soccer team and was named the best tennis player in Ambato… member of the student government.
 
Personal: Born March 13… daughter of Patricio Larrea and Veronica Herdoiza… has two sisters, Maria Veronica and Ana Luisa and a brother, Patricio Jose… aspires to become a registered dietician… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because of the quality of academic programs and location… admires her parents because they taught her to value life and be the best person possible… majoring in nutrition.
