Chinchilla joined the women's tennis staff in the fall of 2019.

Chinchilla hails from San Salvador, El Salvador, where she held the 500th spot in the world ITF during her junior career while also competing for her country's FedCup team prior to her collegiate career.

Chinchilla competed for Bethune Cookman as a four-year letterwinner on the women's tennis team. She was a two-time Second Team All-MEAC selection in 2013 and 2014 before completing her career as a first team selection following the 2015 campaign. She led the Wildcats to the MEAC Championship her senior year and capped off her accolades with three MEAC Academic Scholar awards.

Following her collegiate career, Chinchilla worked as a private coach for the Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, Fla., before returning to school in the fall of 2016 as a graduate assistant women's tennis coach for Mercer. She helped guide the Bears to the Southern Conference semifinals her first season, assisted with the Mercer Gridiron Classic, and assisted with an 80K  women's tournament that featured several professional tennis players, such as Danielle Collins, Kayla Day, Francesca Schiavone and Taylor Townsend.

Following her time at Mercer, Chinchilla moved to Charleston, S.C., to work at the Randy Pete Tennis Academy where she worked with adults and the junior high performance program for students between the ages of 10-18. She also assisted with the Volvo Car Open, a local professional women's tournament.

Chinchilla completed her bachelor's degree in international relations with a minor in political science from Bethune Cookman in 2015 before completing her masters in higher education from Mercer in 2018.
