Fuchs graduated from Texas State University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in coaching while playing for the Texas State tennis team. During her time in San Marcos, she posted an overall record of 30-28 in singles play and 14-19 in doubles.
In her junior year, she recorded a career best 12 singles wins before the season was cut short by COVID. In her senior campaign, she finished with a dual season record of 6-1 at the number 4 spot. In 2019, she was named ITA All-Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete. Furthermore, she received Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
During her tenure at TAMUK, she's assisted in coaching the Javelinas to having members on the LSC All-Academic Team, LSC All-Tournament Team, and First Team All-LSC, as well as having a player at the #44 spot in the ITA National Singles rankings and an overall team ranking of #66 in the ITA National ranking.
