Randy Clark is in his first season as an Assistant Coach for the TAMUK men’s basketball team. Before joining the Javelinas, he spent three years as the varsity assistant coach/JV head coach and led player development at Cornerstone Christian High School in San Antonio, helping the program win the TCAF State title in his first year.
Clark’s college career began at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI where he led the program to a record 18 straight wins and a national ranking as high as 13th. During his time as a Samson, he was awarded Region 13’s Player of the Year honor, was twice selected as an All-Region player, and was named a Third-team All-American after his sophomore season.
He continued his playing career at Missouri Southern State University, where he helped the Lions to an MIAA Conference Tournament Title, and made it to the Second Round of the National Tournament.
He graduated from MSSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, obtained his Series 66, 63 and 7 following graduation and subsequently worked as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones and USAA before beginning his coaching career. He is the proud father of Kyree Clark.
