Biography

2012: Ford appeared in 11 games with seven starts in his first season with the Javelinas. He finished the season with 17 total tackles with a season-high four in the season-opener with Central Washington. Ford picked off his only interception of the season at Valadosta State returning the pass 22 yards. Previous: Ford played two years at Trinity Valley CC and helped lead the team to a playoff appearance in 2010. In 2009, he made 22 tackles in six games. High School: Ford earned all-district honors as a corner back at Dallas Carter High School. He was a three-year letterwinner in both track and football. He led Carter to a pair of playoff appearances. Personal: Ford is the son of Cornelius and Shirley Ford and is studying liberal arts.
