2019: Started eight games as a defensive back…appeared in all 11 games…finished with 48 tackles, 21 assisted and 1.5 for loss…totaled two interceptions, three pass breakups, three hurries and one fumble recovery…season-high 10 tackles twice, first against Eastern New Mexico on September 28 and second against Western Oregon on October 12…recorded 1.5 tackles for loss against Saginaw Valley State on September 7…recovered a fumble and was credited with two hurries against Midwestern State on October 19…recorded an interception against Western New Mexico on November 2 and West Texas A&M on November 9

2018: Played in nine games…totaled five tackles, one assisted…season-high two tackles against Texas Wesleyan on September 8 and Western New Mexico on October 27

2017: Did not play

High School: Earned two letters for Cypress Woods High School… team captain… earned second team all-district in 2016… also ran track.
 
Personal: Full name is Kason Ada Flanklin… son of Kenny and Shelly Franklin… Born Dec. 9… has an older sister- Kelsey… his father played football for Arkansas… chose TAMUK because of the brotherhood and small town feeling… plans on majoring in business.
