2014 (R-So.): Appeared in four games, tallying five total tackles… two tackles in win over Colorado Mesa (Sept. 13)…registered a tackle for a loss vs. Mavericks… added three total tackles, including two solo stops in first matchup at McMurry (Sept. 27).
 
2013 (R-Fr.): Did not compete in any games.
 
2012 (Fr.): Redshirted season, retaining freshman eligibility.
 
High School: Lettered one year as a member of the Marble Falls High School football team in Marble Falls, Texas… earned Mustangs’  Most Valuable Player honors on the defensive side and co-MVP as a tight end on offense… also lettered as a guard on the basketball team.
 
Personal: Son of Gayln and Tara Griffin… has an older sister, Jaylyn… relatives Isaiah and Desmond Trufant are cornerbacks in the National Football League… sociology major.
