Rodriguez joined the TAMUK football program in 2017 as a graduate assistant.
Rodriguez comes to TAMUK after spending the previous two years as a defensive backs coach and recruiting coordinator for his alma mater, Occidental College, from 2015-17.
Prior to Occidental, Rodriguez was an assistant coach at Herbert Hoover High School from 2013-15. While at HHHS, Rodriguez served as offensive coordinator and also coached quarterbacks, tight ends, receivers and defensive backs between the varsity and junior varsity levels.
Rodriguez graduated from Occidental College in 2013 with a B.A. in history.and spent the spring semester as a defensive backs assistant.
