Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

Mike Thornton joined the Texas A&M-Kingsville football staff in July 2015. He will serve as the team's wide receiver coach while pursuing a master's degree.

Prior to arriving in Kingsville, Thornton was the quarterback's coach at Cypress Falls High School in Houston, Texas for a year.

He received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M and was a student assistant coach at A&M Consolidated High School during that time as well.

Thornton is married to the former Tracie Hohman of Hutto, Texas.
