Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

West Texas A&M: Member of the West Texas A&M University football team for two seasons, playing one… Buffs earned the Lone Star Conference championship in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA Division II semifinals.
 
High School: Played for La Joya Palmview High School in Mission, Texas… kicked the longest field goal in school history, a 47-yard conversion, versus Donna High School… earned second team all-kicker and punter honors and named special teams player of the week five times… also lettered for the soccer, baseball and track and field teams.
 
Personal: Goes by Segura… son of Alejandro Sr. and Edmeralda… has a brother, Benigno, and two sisters, Barbara and Amber… cousin Sergio Castillo plays for the Atlanta Falcons… chose Texas A&M-Kingsville because his family played here and it is close to home… admires his parents because they have always worked hard and strive for the best… double major, pursuing degrees in kinesiology and spanish.
